Product stacking and dewatering
These cyclones are fitted with vacuum gauge assemblies and flapper valves to regulate underflow density.
By restricting the flow of material to the spigot, the resulting increased overflow stream leads to improved dewatering of the underflow. It is also possible to use small cyclones in a cluster for dewatering of very fine material. Typical applications are dewatering of fine chrome product and flotation tailings in PGM milling circuits.
